Busy Boy

On Saturday we helped 190 new international students receive furniture at the annual give-away. Here's Alexander with the boys (one day he will join them in moving furniture!)

And here's Alexander with the girls-- these are some of the women that are in my Bible Study on Tuesday mornings. Alexander has grown very close to them-- and they seem to be rather attached to him as well!

Its mid-August which means its the craziest time of the year for us. New students are everywhere, old students are returning and it doesn't seem like we will ever have enough time (or energy) to do all the things we want to do. But we rest on the knowledge that our God is the one that pursues His people and cares for them and pray that we will be directed by Him. We have enjoyed toting Alexander around to conversation groups, lake parties, a Birthday party, lots of dinners and are so grateful for his welcoming personality that makes scared and tired students suddenly become relaxed and happy. I will never know how many photos have been taken of him this past week-- I think his picture has been sent home to parents all over the world :).
