GCF Fall Retreat 2010

Taking a walk up the hill with Dad.

Here's a picture of the house itself (notice the prayer tower on the right and on the left is a 2 story screened in gazebo!)

My cute little guy

In the library there is even a secret little door that leads into a kids reading room. Alexander LOVED this! I even have dreams of making one of these rooms in one of our closets!

Here's most of us!

This past weekend was the annual InterVarsity Graduate Christian Fellowship fall retreat. For the first time, Alexander, Elijah and I were all able to join the students at a beautiful retreat home called the Bellfry. All I can say is, this is what houses could be like in heaven: huge rooms to fellowship, scripture everywhere, themed bedrooms for each continent, hidden surprises around every corner (even a secret passage through a wardrobe that opens up to the roof for a glorious view of the mountains), a prayer tower, a library - I could just go on and on.  For these students and our family this was the perfect place to be and we were each able to meet the Lord is special ways. Thank you, Anne, for blessing each of us through your home!

What a cool house! I loved the reading room and want to make something like that for Marcus in our home. So glad y'all were able to go and relax. You look wonderful and your family is just precious. :)
