Alexander got the hang of grabbing huge hands full of candy pretty quickly (he'd just flash them a cute smile and he could get as much as he wanted!)

On Saturday my wonderful grandparents traveled up from Raleigh to come help me with the boys (Robert is in California for 2 weeks). Alexander got to go trick or treating for the first time and man did he love it! We went "trunk or treating" at Blacksburg Baptist and then did a little trick or treating at the downtown stores which was just perfect. Then on Sunday I took him to a few houses in the neighborhood and tonight he looked up at me after dinner and said, "trick or treat." I think he thought this was a new part of our routine-- dress up like a dragon and go and get candy. So funny. I can't wait for Elijah to join in on the fun next year!
