Children's Church at St. Paul

Jeremiah (age 9) helping Alexander (3) walk down "Candy Lane." One of the many ways we've seen the kids grow in teaching one another.

Cheering each other on!

Teaching the gospel with a candy cane - oh the joys of Children's Church!

A few of our sweet kids!

One of our enjoyments in 2011 has been teaching Children's Church at St. Paul. We've been helping out for awhile and really enjoy the challenge of teaching these precious children. One of our challenges comes with having up to 11 children ranging from the age of 1.5 to 13 years old (not to mention we teach in a basement fellowship hall during the sermon - talk about having to keep the children quiet!). Thankfully we have found a great curriculum designed for a broad age range in the same classroom. We finally have a good routine and we love seeing the kids learn and grow in the gospel.

I'm sure you already know about it, but just in case, do you have the book, "The Legend of the Candy Cane?" It helps explain the gospel.
