We have been experiencing God's great mercy these past seven days. After having all three of our kids sick we are rejoicing over their healing. Alexander, Elijah, and Ella all suffered from RSV this past week but as most know sweet Ella had to spend a few days at the hospital to fully recover. As we watched our little girl go through countless tests and procedures I was grateful for the Lord's constant reassurance that he was taking care of her. After naming Ella, our pastor remarked that the Valley of Elah (pronounced Ella) is where the Israelites were encamped when David defeated Goliath. As I prayed for Ella I was reminded of this passage and couldn't help thinking of God showing his power in and through our little girl - she's a warrior like David!
