My first Mother's Day unexpectedly became a wonderful day. Sadly, Robert had to go to a camp to be with the students on Mother's Day. I had intended to stay home but after crying for awhile after Robert was gone I decided that Alexander and I would join my family down in Raleigh. It was so great to surprise everyone. I am so blessed to have such a loving and supportive family-- thank you all.
